Free volunteer sign-up sheet
Add your shifts, the role for each and how many people you need, and the sheet gives you one line per slot. Print it for the clipboard, or type names straight into it on this device and then print. No sign-up, and nothing is sent anywhere — the sheet is built and kept in your own browser.
Making the sheet work
- One line per slot means a full shift looks full, and an empty line is an open invitation.
- Ask for a phone or email so you can reach people if the truck is late or a shift is cancelled.
- Name the role (intake, stocking, carry-out, driver) so people know what they are signing up for. Job descriptions you can copy: food pantry volunteer roles.
- Log the hours afterwards. A sign-up shows who said they would come; the free volunteer hours log records who actually did, with time in and out.

When people should sign up from their own phones
This sheet lives on one device. PantryPOS has an optional volunteer sign-up portal: you publish shift slots with a capacity, volunteers claim an open slot themselves (or cancel), and they can see their own hours. At the pantry, a kiosk clocks them in and out, and the hours report totals shifts and hours per volunteer for any date range. $39 a month for the first site, free 30-day trial, no card.
