Monthly TEFAP / food bank report from your CSV
Upload the spreadsheet you already keep of each distribution and get the month’s numbers your food bank asks for: household visits, unduplicated households, individuals, age bands for your State, and pounds or items by category. The report names your State’s form where your State profile lists one.
Your file stays on your computer. It is read and totalled by this page in your browser; it is not uploaded to our server. Free, no signup.
How the numbers are counted
- Household visits: rows dated in the month. A household that came three times is three visits.
- Unduplicated households: different households in the month, matched by household number if you map one, otherwise by name. Without either, this tool cannot count them and says so.
- Individuals (all visits): household size added up over every visit. Unduplicated individuals: each household’s size counted once.
- Age bands: from an ages column (ages separated by commas or semicolons, e.g. “34;8;2”), or from your own age-group count columns. When your sheet’s groups don’t match your State profile’s bands, both are shown and nothing is re-split.
- New households: from a new/returning column if you have one. Otherwise the report shows households whose first row in your file is in this month, labelled as such, because your food bank’s “new” rule may count differently.
- Pounds and items: totalled by your category column, or one category per pounds column.
Your food bank and State agency set the report you must send, its categories and its deadlines; where they differ from this page, theirs win. The State facts come from our State TEFAP profiles (TEFAP rules by State), each dated with when it was checked. TEFAP inventory lines (beginning, received, ending) come from your stock records, not a distribution sheet, so this tool does not compute them.
